Fancy some waffles but you don’t want to start your day with an unhealthy breakfast? Try out this banana waffle recipe instead. You only need 6 ingredients that you probably have at home. And the best part? These banana waffles don’t contain any sugar! The ripe bananas give the waffles a sweet taste. This banana waffle recipe is a perfect breakfast alternative or a great snack for in between.
2 ripe Bananas
250 g Flour
200 ml Almond Milk
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
Step by Step
Mash or blend the ripe bananas. Next, add the almond milk and the eggs and mix everything. Mix the dry ingredients separately and add them to the bananas, eggs and milk. Heat up the waffle maker and add some butter or grease to make sure the waffles don’t stick to the waffle maker. Bake the waffles until they are gold brown. Finally, add some toppings.
You can freeze the waffles in case you have some left over and enjoy them another day. Are you looking for more healthy breakfast alternatives? Try out my Mango Smoothie Bowl recipe. You might also like my pancakes recipe.
